Route 66 shoots straight across the Panhandle and into New Mexico. Stop in at the U-Drop-Inn Cafe for a special U-Drop-Inn burger, and pull over just outside of Amarillo to visit the Cadillac Ranch. Glenrio, at the Texas/New Mexico state line was home to the famous "Last Motel in Texas/First Motel in Texas."
